What a great ride!!!

I've been active in the Letterheads since '95 and have met so many amazing and talented people. I can't count the number of states I've been to and have seen work that was a privilege to see. What great memories.

I know it's hard to believe but I'm going to keep this short.... [Wink]

Thanks to Steve and Barb for making much of this possible and thanks to all the good friends I've made over the years for your sincere friendship, caring and help.

Good health and happiness to you all.

Joe,

Still makin chips and havin fun!

It's only human nature to wonder why you're leaving and what you are leaving, but seeing as you kept it short, then I guess I will to.

Bye Joe! have a safe journey [Smile]

Good to meet and talk to you, Joe. Hopefully, this is a good and positive move, a way to just fade off into the sunset.

Whatever your reasons, God's speed, good health, and good luck in whatever you do.

Thanks everyone!

No mystery here......still makin my house #'s and as busy as I need to be.

I've picked up my fly rod again and I'm hitting the trout streams around here and having a blast.

I've seen many who were very active on this forum just disappear and always wondered?????

So, I'm well, still workin and enjoying what time is left to me. I just wanted to give all my friends (you) a shout out and offer my thanks for many good times and wish you all the best.

I'll poke in here once in awhile and I'll always have my door open for any letterhead to just pop in and say hi.

Hope that splains it better... [Wink]

Be well and keep in touch,

Joe

Makin Chips and Havin Fun!

Joe, the carving you did for me still hangs proudly over my desk. Thanks for all the nice conversations we had together.

It won't be long before I'll be joining you, minus the fishing. No patience for that. I'll spend my time writing and painting (clouds and trees).

I, too, have a beautiful carved Joe Chips sign above my desk that I enjoy seeing every day. Go catch some fish and quit scaring us like this - ****, I thought you were dying or something.....

Joe,

You've been such an inspiration to all of us. It was good to finally meet you in person at one of the meets.

Enjoy your life, and remember letterville is not far away to drop in every now and then; my iife took some turns due to back injury but I still come in and check up on what's going on, glad I caught your post.Good luck.

I am very happy for you Joe, & I think I know how you feel! My health has made sign making more difficult for me, & painting pictures in the woods much easier! That's what I'd like to be doing all the time.

Joe...hope the fish are biting for you and not the mosquitoes...I'm also kicking back a little more myself these days...working in the yard and kayaking the local rivers...Donna wants me to retire entirely but when something has been so much a part of your life for so long...and something you enjoy as well...it would be near impossible to entirely give it up...I hope you never stop making those amazing carved gems you're so famous for...I especially appreciate and admire the many nature themes...the ones I've seen are remarkable.
