I've recently been sent information about this browser and how it monitors conversations sending info back to Google and on to possibly malicious sites. I found several complaints about this bug recorded, but nothing about it on Snopes. Anyone know if there is really substance to this, or is it yet another hoax?

really P*SS ME OFF... everytime i do a ADOBE reader/player update.........IT INSTALLS THIS CRAP ON MY COMPUTER!!!! if I wanted GOOGLE CHROME........i would d/l it. dont see any advantage to it.just more crap on the desktop.

I had an Adobe Flash Player update today Joe...It "offered" the option to install Google Chrome as my default browser. I just unchecked that option and continued on, no problem.
Any more it seems that any "update" wants to sneak in an additional program. You just have to look carefully before blindly just clicking OK.
My brother has been bugging me to try Google Chrome as a browser but everything I have read says it seems to want to take over as "default" browser and is difficult to get rid of once installed. I'll give it a pass thank you very much!

i use OPERA........... simple no bull crap....gets me on the internet....and is fast.
