Any tips for screening on fibreglass reinforced plastic.? Supplier is using Inktech inks and test adhesion is poor, dries fines but scratches easily. They are testing same type of ink as used on coroplast.

I don't think that any ink made for plastics will tooth into it. Basic enamel or a catalyzed ink like NazDar's 9600 with NB70 catalyst will adhere although the 9600 isn't recommended for long term outdoor use.

The 5900 enamel would be your best bet but you won't get full adhesion for days unless you bake dry it.

Chuck, I agree with Bill on this.

But to be sure, I would strongly recommend sending a sample of the substrate to the ink manufacturer and let them test it for you to find out what the best ink option is.

Thanks for the input, testing has moved on to several ink types, having some success with lacquer based inks as far as adhesion.
