Sold my compressor, sand pot and respirator system to a guy in Orlando. He just came and picked it all up. Now, we will have to use the router for everything or sub out any needed blasting. But I'm not sad to see it go.

Sold all my sandblast equipment a few months ago, too. And I haven't missed it a bit.

Good for you, Raymond.
It would be nice to blast a rusty piece of metal now and then, and I won't be able to blast stone or monuments anymore, but I didn't sell much stonework anyway.

What's nice is the pea shooter is out in the shop slaving away at a sheet of HDU right now and I'm in here in the A/C. [Smile] I gotta go check on it.

Wayne...you cnc owners like to rub it in don't you...tomorrow while your sitting in the AC sipping on a mint julep I'll be sweating away under a hood blasting a 4x8 DS sign...I still don't know how that sand gets to some of the places it does...seems a few grains always make their way inside my underwear.

Who in Orlando? I may need his services sometime! [Big Grin]

Duain Gardner, Amy...
Jamaican guy

Rusty, if you're blasting a ds sign that big, you could use the money to buy my Shopbot, and have enough leftover to buy and A/C and lots of mint juleps...whatever that is [Smile] .

So glad I sold my CNC...don't even miss it...I can park in my garage and when I need routing I can pay my guy down the street $85/hr...yee ha!

You're lucky Karen. I don't have a guy down the street. I don't have a guy in the county. Heck, I don't have a guy at least 3 counties away. And I'd love to sell my sandblaster, but how would I clean steel?

My location is identical to Dave's...I don't have a cnc guy close either and don't have enough work to justify making a big investment...so I see sand continuing in my future.
