The sound effects definitely add something. Might look into a better set of them as I know from doing radio ads, there are quite a few good ones to use. Tons of great sounds on a CD.
Scaffolding? In my 22 years of doing showroom windows, I have used an 8' ladder that I carry in the back of my fullsize PU with a hard tonneau cover. I have used those scissor lifts when necessary, but never wanted to bother with the setting up and cost of those portable scaffold sets. Because the eight foot ladder fits in the back so easily, I carry it with me everywhere and rarely do I run into a situation I need a different gig. Be careful slipping and sliding around on the top of a truck! There is nothing up there to hold onto up there. Falling is such a drag.
Ten years ago I was up 18' on an extension ladder painting a stripe around a building. I was almost done and got to a sloping area...sloping both in-out and side to side. I built a 4x4 plywood base and set the ladder level on it. Big mistake. $18,000 later at the hospital, I learned to respect heights. Two black eyes, sore all over and every test there was for stroke ond heart attack. The base just slipped out and nothing more was wrong. Today, I do not go up beyond what an eight footer will provide without a scissors lift and if it is not level, forget it. Call someone else.

I can relate to using your truck without a ladder. One good thing is having a ladder rack then I put a plank on it and you can walk along it. But on your truck you have that nice painting on it. lol Your sound effects lol my dog attacked my speakers lol got use to them but 1st attacked them lol then a different one bam lol
I use scaffolds alot built 6-8ft sets 26 years ago just to get above doors with one section with 2 sets of wheels and adjustable legs ...well long story short a developer and a landlord stole them to use but I still got 2 sets left and others..Scaffolds are easy to set up / take down and safe... highest I've been 60 ft( not again ) lol
When my box van was running the roof was a great platform and thank you I'll make my S10 to use as a platform also now.
