[Frown] Don Hulsey called this morning and said he and Dora had to make a fast trip to Arizona to be by his brother’s bedside. His brother had a form of luekemia. Charlie passed away today so his suffering has been relieved. He was admitted into hospice yesterday. His brother would have been 57 next week. Don & Dora have not left his side in a several days and most of his other family members are there too. Don asked us to let you all know, as you are friends of Don & Dora and he just couldn’t call everyone that has shown concern for his family and his brother. He doesn't have internet access out there and won't be back to Kentucky for a while, so he will check the site here when he gets back home.
Say a little prayer for Don and his family.

Sorry to hear about this Don.
Even though he may not be suffering anymore, it is still hard to say goodbye to loved ones.
You and Dora will be in our prayers

I lost my brother to cancer just about this time last year, so in a way I believe I can relate to what you must be going through right now....and my prayers are with you. Find comfort in the fact that the suffering is over.

Kay and I extend our heart felt sympathy. We could tell it wasn't easy for you when we were there last month. I wish there was more that we could have done to help. I'm sure he was comforted by having you there in his final moments.
If there is anything we can do, call us.

Sorry to hear this Don - I know from experience there isn't one thing a person can say to make your pain less. Hopefully knowing that your friends are praying and thinking of you and your family is of some comfort.

Don & Dora,

It's comforting to know you were able to be with Charlie in his final hours. He will always be in your heart and memories. I'll pray that peace be with you, your family and friends.

Cher.

Thanks to all of you for your concerns.

Charlie was my oldest brother, and when the minister asked me to describe him, all I could say was "Big Brother". He was everything a big brother is supposed to be.

Charlie was able to talk to us some after they removed the respirator. He knew who we were, and was able to let us know.

I am sure I will miss him forever, but I am also sure of where he has gone, and I will catch up with him again someday.

Thanks again,
