I'm working on my site. Please let me know how the load time is. Especially curious about dial-up connections and the speed of the dial-ups (28K, 56K, etc.)

I haven't finished the portfolio page yet.

Thanks!

Amy I like the new look. Very professional. I don't have a stop watch but on 56k dial up I didnt find the load time bothersome. Looks really good so far. Keep working on it and start to make money from it.

It's looking very nice Amy.
Loaded plenty quick enough here and my speed is 48kbps on dialup.

I have 56K dial up...I can't open it.

I did a count in my head but that did not work, I had to get a calender. just kidding, I am on dial-up 56K I did a count down. It took about 20 seconds to totally load. Like somebody else said not bad at all.

You have magnificent style, Amy!

Think about linking to your customers pages on the 'clients' page - and maybe obtaining and using a juicy testimonial or two to use there, as well. Photos of some of them might not even be a bad idea.

Hey...it worked fine for me today! The load time is no prob.

Site looks nice.

If it's something you think you'd like to do...in your customers list...maybe choose about 5 of your all-time bests...make this a separate list above the rest and beside the company names have thumbnails that can be clicked on for a bigger pic of of the job.

Just a thought.

Okay...I see Jon Aston posted a similar thought. I like the testamonial idea on the customers page, too.

Good idea, Jon!

Thanks for the comments and time checks.

I changed things up a little and added comments on some of the pages. I had a testimonial page before but thought it was a little much. This way there is a testimonial on most every page. The ones who provided these testimonials will likely be in the portfolio if I ever have time to figure it out!!

Thanks again!

Jill,

You really should get dial-up! It's all the rage, now.

I have cable and it was almost instant loading. Nice clean look for your site!

Looks good Amy. Nice site.

I know it might sound crazy, but if you delink your email address on the contact page you'll basically eliminate the spam that might come your way.

Spammers use robotic programs that roam the web looking for email addresses embedded in pages and harvest them for future use.

If you do delink the email address and continue to get spam, you'll know your hosting service is selling your email address and you can tell them to stop.

Just a thought.
