After a year of absence I have come to notice of this site that it has LOST it's sense of humor. and certainly it"s sense of fair play, and defiantly it's sense of tac.

It has come to pass that we of the same trade who have chosen to keep the craft at this site have lost the common decency to respect are brothers and sisters of this trade,,,

We have quicken to deplete are acquaintances and elevate ourselves above the donor of any post that is in the slightest realm of difference,,...

How in the hell has this come to past?, we of such creativity, and passion to the credo of comonrodity, have deteriorated to name calling,, innuendoes, snide remarks, and just plane phuckness to our electronic neighbors... Of whom " by the way could very well become one of yur best contacts,,, OR the one to show ya how to do that one job that ya been hanging by pubic hair on....

Now read me not wrong, I am all for a fair fight, and certainly for a good discussion... and will swill with the best of ya,,,, and the first to twist one, to help with the mood swing...

BUT of late I have seen even the REGz. give way to serving hot soup on a paper plate...

Let me offer you this challenge, we all have our phone numbers listed...take the time to drop a dime to the person whom you last war with,,,... speak to them voice to voice.... you will see a difference in the mood... and I invite you to place yur comments here of that conversation... be it good or bad... but with TAC,.

At one time or another I have war with almost everyone here... YES even" Mark Fair..
and not leaving out the Management''' BUT, I believe In my best, and deepest"" that we have come to better understand the type of people that we are, and though we might not go K"why`n, in the bushes together, we have a RESPECT of the EACH...and that is better then most of my aquatints web or not...

So give it a shot... place the call...
best to ya all, Twain,TBuk.

Ted,
The encouragement to have occassional phone chat is good, but possibly more expensive than some can afford. I certainly can attest to the fact that my fondness and appreciation for you was heightened when we've spoken on the phone and become more real as humans to each other. Seems that a little bit of that makes it so I can read your message and her it in your voice too. I hope the sun is shinning on your hilltop today.

Ted,

Thank you for your post. The invective and bile thrown around this board is really wearing on me too. I am glad to see you are back and I hope you stay.

I join the chorus: let's keep the subject to signs and be friendly again! This political s**t is making me long for the days when we yelled at each other about trading clipart!

Best wishes,
Mark

Pierre> Give me books and send me to school and I still make grammer mistakes, But I think the point was well made, and even understood by thos more learned, and isn't that the essence of comunacation, understanding what the other monkey is hooting about....tbuk

Ken> I have hated prunes from child hood, along with castor oil, both given to me as a child... yes thats how long I have been full of crap.... (in some folks eyes).tbuk

Jack> Thanks...what else can I say, when two crazy people meet than you have insanity,, and insane people just stare at each other,,, with full knowledge, If one or the other utters the spoken word, they will be left stumbling for eturnity in search of the underlying meening. tbuk

Del > quick to wit, thanks for the repost, and the giggle'''tbuk

Jackson > Yup to that,, I printed out that BULL looking dude on the BB header, and gave him "her" them bright red tongs of Steve's... and WOW what a trill to stick it to them..tbuk

Gail > By no force remain silent, the gist of my post was in the manner of which we speek to our "friends"... for me to call me Mom" a bitch would be improper, and inconsiderate of me and disrespectful, and show others how little I think of myself, and my outward disrespect for others around me..... BUT I can disagree with her...raise my voice, and hoop and holler,,, but at the end, wish her a good day and I would "catch her on the twain"... ( Mom is gone now)tbuk

Rick > agreed, mirror feelings here... I am aware how much a phone call cost (some what) and I am single and In command of my own, but when I had a wonderment, on a post the call was quick and GOOD, and brought about a human... and I was allowed to go about the day in better light...as you might know this business is hard to preform in the dark,,, I much rather have a person (Know) I am a jerk then to (Think) I am a jerk...Twain,TBuk.

Hey, Theodore! CHill out! I'm not disagreeing, in fact I've spoken to 6 Letterheads on the phone, so far. Actually about 20, but 14 were for Pelucid orders. The other 6 were just for the halibut. Of the 6, 4 of them had been hostile post encounters, and after a while we all came to have slightly different opinions of each other. It's always easy to holler at "words" on a board post. You're less inclined to do the same in person. We all discoverd that they were actually very good people, and they all discovered that I was a .............................JERK AFTER ALL!!! Hahahahahahahahaha
