So just like many of you, I'm getting old. I have an opportunity to do a double side 4x8 title sign. Nice drunk man plowed through the other one I made long ago. Thing is, I don't look forward to carrying around 1 1/2 urethane blanks for processing and painting. I would really like to have it cnc'ed...but where? This is not like digital printing, not everyone has one (and knows how to use it). If I can't find someone nearby I may have to forgo the grain texture and just do it flat layered. I can do that. Suggestions? This is not something I can send ups. I need it close enough to pickup with my truck. Jer/Artworx/signguy@turlocksigns.com

Old is OK, just plan on it taking three times as long. Work a couple hours. Nap time. Lunch. Work in the garden. Repeat every couple days till it's done.

You might be able to find someone with a CNC working under the business name as Metal Works, Steel Supply, Custom Metal Fabrication. A lot of those type of places have CNC routers. Or maybe a Plastic supplier. I have a CNC router. Love it. Not just for fancy cutting but for also cutting straight panels. No more flimsy panel cutting on saw horses.

I'm in a CNC group that has over 14,000 members. Most are hobbyists but they can also be proficient but without an official business name you won't find them. I will see if any have a 4x4 router near you.
