i need an vector nautical certificate border for a glass panel i'm carving/etching for the coast guard. found one on shutterstock.com they like. apparently i have to buy two images for 29 bucks. do you know of any other options ? thanks

the only option I get on shutterstock is the 5 images download for 49$ ... then a 30% coupon can be found to get to costs down a bit.

Anyways the client pays it all. plus the time it takes to find the "perfect" image.

Two images for $29 seems pretty reasonable. I sure hope you are getting enough for a glass panel to cover that. [Razz]
Seriously, if you value your work then you should be able to value the work of the person that designed the border. You can probably find something free on the net, but remember that there is a relation between the perceived value of your work as well as theirs.
Now as a Shutterstock contributor, I could be somewhat biased. [Razz]

A while back someone here put me onto a site similar Shutterstock called SignElements.

You can register and get a few free images before deciding if you want to subscribe.

They had a good variety of photo and clipart.
try it! Download your limit.
