Interesting occurrence today . . . A gentleman walked in with decals to mount on magnetic sheet so he didn't have to apply the haulers name direct to his truck - a brand new Ford F-350.
I tried our standard magnetic sheeting on a 2010 Toyota truck - a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder and a 2005 Subaru Forester . . . all stuck like normal magnetics stick . . . Solid - with some effort to pull back.
On the new F-350 . . . it BARELY stuck to the metal on the doors, tailgate, hood, you name it . . ..
Parts are changing in vehicles, folks. Obviosuly the steel content was reduced in the body panels . . .
Maybe this is old news to ya'll - but it was sure new 'news' to us.

Perhaps the F-350 simply had class and refused to wear the magnetics - I would too if I were it!

You might want to try them on another F-350 as well.
I made a set for a brand new Chevy Silverado several years ago, and they blew off on his way home. Turned out the bondo was nearly 1/4 inch thick on his "brand new" doors. The truck had been damaged at the factory, and they did a really cheap repair, and sent it out.

George . . . you may be on to something there . . . the color shows as 'Pale Adobe' and there was a small flake in the paint.
You think the metal in the paint blocked the magnetivity????
Ian . . . thanks for the laugh!! I know . . . all our top notch work and we whore ourselves out with magnetics . . . What a man will do for a piece of bread . . . lol
