New Hope I have been treated for the last year and a half for macular degeneration in my left eye with lucentis and another product by the same drug manufacturer. The results were reasonable till I buit up a resitance to it.
Now comes along a new drug, just approved, called EYELIA after one injection there has been good results. Doc. says that everyone he has used this on has had improvements.
Just had the second injection and I can say that there has been a good change in vision in the left eye, so I have cancelled my brail driving lessons at the Touch and Go Driving School, AKA Bump and grind demo school.
Anyone that has or knows someone with WET AMD check it out with your doctor.

At my last visit to the eye doctor I was told that he is watching for a macular problem. As my father has lost vision in one eye (he is 99 this year) and my mother lost most of her vision to macular degeneration I'm being real careful about the taking the vitamins he suggested followed by annual checkups. Thanks for the info I'll follow up with my doctor.

Even at my young age of 54, if I didn't wear contacts or glasses, I don't think I'd be able to do half of the things I do.
