Just had heavy wet snow over 12 inches brought down many branches and trees, neighborhood without power for one and half days, no access to neighborhood in or out as cut off by huge oak tree across street and bringing down all wires and communication, fortunately we have an external generator that supplies all power to home and shop. power was just restored. If you don't like the weather in New England, just wait a minute!

No snow on Cape of Cod Len. Amazing what a difference 75 miles can make. Enjoy the winter wonderland.

Luckily we never lost power, at home or shop. It was kind of weird driving around, ducking under low lying trees, It's bound to happen when you add heavy wet snow to still leaf bearing trees.
What amazed me more than that was the inept driving I saw from seasoned participants
Instead of sending the kiddies out with candy bags and just flashlights, they'll be sporting a snow shovel and ice melt too

This large oak came down taking with it all power lines, phone and cable took all day to clear road (only way in or out) power was restored around 9 P.M. Glad I have a large generator that powers the house and shop.
