My client wants a lobby sign. Prefer dimensional lettes mounted to wall, or standing off wall, illuminated. I could access the back of the wall through an office. Could use track lighting to spot light it, but wanted to know if I could use LED to create halo lettering.

Hiya Jeff, I really like Billie's suggestion because it would be simple to execute. How large are the letters because I don't know if LEDs will fit behind the strokes. So, off the top of my head, I would entertain fiber optics or acrylic push through letters with some sort of transparent or opaque overlay.

The wall size is about 9' wide and 8' tall. I would guess the sign are would be 36" x 54" Small letters 3.75" (caps) Large would be 10" caps.
Not sure what Bill means by reverse.. Letters cut out of green acrylic? Would this be a double panel with one clear panel to mount interior of letters to?

I'm sure Billie will reply. But, I assumed he meant something like this...
It's a special acrylic material that is router cut and edge lit so the cuts will appear to be illuminated.
