At the risk of pointing a finger, but I am frustrated. I have had Signlab for almost 15 years and over the last few have felt I am being taken. A year ago I bought 8 and a new Rolands Print Cut. At the time I was told 8 was a must. ($500) The main issue here now is Printing, remove for lamination then return for cutting (using registration marks) Signlab is defaulting the cutter to 50gm. I have had their Tech people on my computer and bottom line I was told it was a programming problem and the fix is in 9 ($500)Is this a problem elsewhere? On top of this I have never been able to get the cutter to accurately cut when using registration marks. It is usually off to some extent. Is this a problem elsewhere?

yes you need to set your print cut adjust on the printer. That is not a software issue but a maintenance thing. Rolands come with Versaworks which is a great rip program. Export your files in eps to Versaworks and you won't have the signlab issue. We use Coreldraw/Versaworks for all our output
