... A gall bladder attack???

I had 2 separate events last week, first on Tuesday night and again Thursday night.
It was pretty intense. Part of me though I was gonna die, and the rest was wishing I would. Scared the hell out of me, for a while I was SURE that I was having a heart attack. No fun at all....

Been there..... Get yourself on a non fat diet and go see your doctor. I got along fine on the diet, but ultimately had it removed.... fine ever since. Now I just need to get my cholesterol a little lower.....

I still remember mine ... and that was in 1967!

Yeah ... you think that you are going to die!

Today it is a simple operation and leave you with 4 little holes instead of a big gash. You will be back to work in less than a week.

Yup, had mine out June 23, 1997.
Ended up in the ER after a particularly fat-filled Memorial Day BBQ and the doc told me I was having an anxiety attack and sent me home. Went to see my regular doc the next day and she said it was CLASSIC gallbladder symptoms.

Not fun, I wish you well.

Never had it. What causes it usually? Not wine or cigars, I hope.

I have gall stones and in doing research they say that the majority of people who have them have not been drinking enough water daily. Pop, beer, wine, coffee don't count.

Drinking water flushes the Gall Sack and keeps the bile moving through your system.

My sister just got them and I did some looking around on medical sites for info and here are some tips. Gall stones are much harder than Kidney stones and they don't break down easily.
It the gall bladder ruptures, it is as dangerous for you as having your appendix burst. The bile that it releases into your system can cause sepsis (not good)

They say if you have an attack stop eating food for a day and drink lots of water. Apple juice is also very good. If you drink 2 glasses of water, 30 minutes later it has flushed the gall sack of the bile. There are some natural remedies that are supposed to break the stones down but do some reading on your own.

Fatty foods are the main cause for the flair ups. The stone heads for the small opening in the bottom of the sack and the muscles around it squeeze like hell to try and pass it. I also thought I was having a heart attack and ended up on the floor on one knee in the worst pain I had experienced.

The stones are likely to get bigger so you will have to get it taken care of.

Do lots of reading, Check their sources for the most accurate information, BUT, DRINK PLENTY OF WATER.
