My compressor is about to go. I use it at the shop and onsite spraying base & clear for wood graining. Looking for dependability and hopefully maybe not as noisy.
After the compresser runs for a while, the motor starts, then seizes up and starts smoking until I shut it down to cool off.
I use it mostly to spray acrylics/enamels/laquers.

Cheers

I DONT KNOW HOW MANY C.F.M you need you can find that out from your spray gun maker....then buy a compressor that will supply enough air....that probably why this is fried.. i got a 220V 5 h.p. SEARS i bought back in 87-88.... ive painted trucks, boards, sandblasted a boat trailer, run my air wrenches etc etc....and its still goin strong......cost me $399....i cant complain
