Hiya 'heads,
We've been doing a fair amount of these lately. They're being installed in our clients suites in a new arena.
The materials are basically 1/4" sandblasted acrylic background with 1/8" custom painted, laser cut, acrylic logos and vinyl support copy. We're attaching them to the walls using 1.5" x 2" stand offs. This one is 15" x 30".
Not including sales, the total time spent to produce is about 3 hours. That included ordering materials, design and assembly.
Total material cost was about $175.
Installation is being billed seperately.

What would you charge?

Havin' fun,

Checkers

My first thought was 500.00 now that I do the math I'm not far off. I come up with 412.50 for total cost of materials and labor with a decent mark up on materials. I would go the 500.00 cuz I'm sure there is some time forgotten somewhere.

Im clueless on this one. I've never made a sign in this manner before. Looking at it from a perceived value perspective I would "guess" that $400 to $500 feels right.

Being the client is a bank they should have plenty of money inside to pay for it.

$175 material cost, marked up 75% is $306.25, plus 3 hrs labor @ $80/hr is $240. Total cost is $546.25. Nice sign - its worth it.
