Thanks guys, the one part that bothers me the most is the Body, I always have a heck of a time with that, if any of you have any special tips that I could benefit from, I'll gladly listen...

Looks good Neil.
Are you working from a picture? I think the problem is the placement of the legs. They look like they are coming from right under neck instead of back further on the body.

Neil, think perspective and body parts for example the chest is a tube going back in space therefore imagine large to small shape and light to dark value. Legs are doing the same go large to small and light to dark. This will create depth and volume. Imagine in perspective imagery. Hope that helps I like what you have started. The same can be applied to the head to neck and the claws. Was that as clear as mud? good luck with it!

Thanks Guys I do know it's off, but I did want to exaggerate the talons, I can't seem to get a decent shot of the body when the eagle is in this position.. and I really need a good reference, I'm not one of those artists than can draw from memory, but good advice and I thank you for it. Another thing I struggle with is the fact that this is just a mural on a motorcycle, How much time can you really afford to spend on a piece?
Bruce your work is awesome, I went to your site, and man, the work is in a class all by itself.
Just noticed that Tiny pic removed the first photo? Was it because the Eagle was nude? lol
Guys you have to visit Bruce's site.. you have to.
Being the owner of a Black Lab, that piece you have painted is close to my heart.. Labs are truely a special breed.
