Looks perfect to me. Bottom one reads a bit easier for contrast reasons. Cool cards!

Dittos to what Lotti said.

I like the brightness of the bottom and the tamales next to your name like the top.
I think you nailed it though amigo.

Great looking card. If anything, I would suggest the moustache is a little too large.

Man you can't beat John's cartoons can you... looks great, ditto on the bottom one, but I really can't see much of a difference.

Dan, those airn't tamales, those be chilis. I like the bottom one as well. Do you wear glasses to read? Is the card legiable enough to read without glasses? I like to be able to read cards without a magnifying glass. Otherwise , looks Muy Bueno Vato!

I like the bottom one. Nice work! How's the weather back in Iowa?

I normally don't chime in on these, but I have to on this one.
Looks fantastic, except that I always think that sign guys are supposed to think big and letter big, so I really filled up your "portfolio".
I'd pick any narrow font and start filling the space as big as possible, then scale my way down and pick the fit you like best. Doesn't have to be as big as what I'm showing, but the other seems kinda small.
just my opinion! Don't start throwing chili peppers!
also I centered your name up a little more evenly

That will be a memorable card, Phillip... and the cartoon is perfect! Nice tag line, too.
