I made some demo signs using new Vcarve software, they supplied the designs. The software vendor will be showing them at the Orlando show and possibly at the ShopBot Jamboree in Durham NC.

Really nice work Ernie...I'm looking forward to checking them out at the show.

Was the horse and sailboat done with the software too? Are those smalt backgrounds on the hog outs?

Oh and what software are you using?

Bob,

The company is called Vectric, stop in their booth and say hi for me.

The software was Vcarve Wizard and a soon to be released 3D package. The 3D models came from Vector Art 3D.

I have been working with a talented guy named James Booth who has a company called Carve 3D.

Good eye it is smalts, they don't show up with the cloudy day, the signs are painted with oneshot and are too glossy to shoot with a flash.

I need to find good paint with a satin finish.

VERY COOL signs!!!

I love the things you can do on a router!

I'll look for them at the ISA show in Orlando.

Thanks Dan,

You inspired me to get my home built router going again after letting it gather dust for 2 years.

mike,

We are 20 miles north of Albany NY which is right on Interstate 90 not too far from the Mass line.

We would love to have you here, I'd even shovel out the guest room for you.

Routers are not that difficult to build these days, the internet is full information.

Ernie,

Beautiful work!!!

Try Fine Paints of Europe (a merchant here) for really good oil based paint in satin finish. I used their gloss for a project and was very pleased.

Al -- you wild and crazy guy --

Good to hear from you!

What did we miss at the edge meet this year? Did you chase women all night like last year?

Ernie, as said on the Vectric forum. Just terrific stuff. James Booth is a great guy and his relief models are terrific. You're sure to get a lot of oohs and ahhs in Orlando.

Bill
