Did this today, for a homeshow. I'm sure that it will be the only painted piece there. It's for Pfeifer's Hardware in Mars, Pa. The owner LOVES hammers. This was entirely done by hand, no patterns, clip-art etc. Looks like something I did BC.
Love....Jill

I love it, Jill!
That would be an aweful lot of work for me, but I know how fast you can do this kind of stuff. All the practice doing panels at the Letterhead meets is good for something, isn't it?

Jill,

Your work always has such class. As a non-sign painter, I'd be drawn to that booth...just because the artwork is so neat. Are you teaching Stevo some of your tricks?

Thanks folks.
He just picked it up and I thought his face was gonna crack from smiling. He loved the hammer! Ed Pfeifer is a good friend and was a big help to me with the Mars meet. All he said was "I need a banner for a trade show with this slogan". He trusts me.

He is a local radio personality, and I wanted to paint his portrait (posterized/caricature) on it, but True Value didn't like the idea. Folks call into KDKA on Saturday mornings & he gives fix-it type advice. He's real handsome, too, and would have been such fun to render.

He was tickled, because without knowing it, I accidentally matched all the colors in his display area. He took a stack of my biz cards with him.

Stevo and I teach each other all sorts of interesting things! We are gonna be a good team.
Love....Jill

Great Hand Job Jilly.. I can't believe I just said that... as if we never heard that before... But Beautiful work as usual.
Actually I get to do a hand job myself later today, no not for myself, but a customer wants this sign painted, for tamper resistance, so it's gonna be a little bit of fun.

Nice work Jill. I like your layout alot and especially the feel the sign has. It immediately brought back memories from my old painting days. I can see how that was fun to do.

I LOVE hand painted signs. They have a magic in them which a computer generated sign could never duplicate. Hand painted work has heart!

And on this piece Jill's personality shines through.

Great work Jill!

Jill,

If this was a vacuum cleaner I'd say it sucks. But since it's a hand lettered banner and most exquisite, I'd say it's VERY SHAGGADELLIC!

Yeah Baby Yeah!
