Thanks to all who helped with suggestions and moral support. This building is one of the oldest buildings in town and is right next to the old theatre that's been re-done.
Someone told me to remember that I was bigger than the wall and that became my mantra at the beginning. I kept wondering if I was going to fail miserably in public. My first day on top of the scaffold scared me into that dizziness where it feels like the earth is swinging out from under you. But somehow you get use to it and then it's fine.
I think I might have the best looking crew around:
We really enjoyed doing this, it's addictive.
We're about to begin our second outdoor mural next week

Amy,
We used an opaque projector late one night. Dan, I think, suggested that I use black paint to "draw" the design on the wall with rather than chalk and boy was I glad, that would have washed off!

Great job Penny! Looks like you are getting some good brush experience. See what you can do when you have the support of folks here. Just think how much you can learn at a LIVE Letterhead meet. Get yourself to the next Dixie Meet girl! Judy
