Just fooling around this morning trying to design some quickie cards for Dave's dad, who is going to show some of his woodworking at a show this weekend. Dave's mom called me earlier this week to ask me if I could come up with something for them to hand out at the event.
So, here I am at the last minute cranking something out.

Very nice!
Designing for very close family and friends can be some of the most difficult work, at least for me. Their opinion always matters more than anyone else's. I'm sure Bernie will love 'em.

V.Nice! sort of fram a hand-made era look.
(Fonts look like snapper script, sort of architecture, & snapper again- they work very well.)

Yep. Class is the word here. When someone hands you a card like that you expect quality work. You did a good job for him.

Ian, you are right about the Snapper Script, also, the other font I used was OzHandicraft, which is one of my favourite fonts.
Thank you so much for the favourable comments. You all are so encouraging.
Dave's mom and dad seemed to like the cards.
Joe E., ... you've got that right. I've had my share of difficulty working for friends. They are usually your greatest fans when referring you to others, but working directly for them can be a whole 'nuther ball game. It seems to come with a whole set of circumstances that I just affectionately refer to as "the friend thing".
