A customer wants their sign moved from between two massive(like overkill) brick columns and wants some big PT wood posts. The HDU sign is two sided, 5.5'x4'. So I priced two 10''x10''x10' posts@$120 EACH...my cost, and two 12''x12''x10' ones at $165each my cost...special order..and no guarantee that they'll be straight. And I would still have to rout, sand, prime and paint them.
In what ways can I design a post by 'building it up' say...with a 6x6 or so with PT lumber or maybe a box/frame or something? Something that would look nice. Any Ideas? Thanks

Wayne...built up posts are the way to go on anything over 6x6. There are a couple signs on my site with these... you're welcome to call me if you'd like.

John, Why haven't I seen your signs in SignCraft? Ain't no shabby looking signs on that site. Nice site too BTW. I might just give you a call. Just wore slam out this evening. When is a good time tomorrow?
