Had a visit yesterday evening from Jerry Jaran from Moab Utah, a Letterhead passing thru my town while on his way to Lake Shasta. A fine artist who's into 3D reliefs by trade but also does vinyl signage. He had a nice setup in his house trailer which he pulled with a utility bodied truck. He seemed like a nice guy and he did say that his killerkart works awesome on the road as he's had one for a couple years. He said he stopped by to pick up a few pointers on pinstriping, holding the brush and making it flow. I think I gave him more then he bargained for when I showed him how I do 1/32" double lines without reducing the paint, yet paletting the brush with #6000 - 1Shot in a sticky yet flowing feel of the brush. I also gave him a new Excaliber compliments of Jules, a can of Paint-Sav, palette booklet, and some hardener.
I haven't a clue where he's gonna wind up, probably Arizona most likely. But he does nice work on his own and I introduced him to Jon Peterman figuring they had more in common then this ol'pinstriper.
Anyway here I am up at 4am in big pain, trying to figure out who gets what after I leave this planet Posted by Santo (Member # 411) on :
