Hi,
First time routing out some aluminum sign shapes (12 x 18 custom shapes). I'm using a 3/16" spiral cut bit at 21,000 rpm, .125" per second feed rate, cutting .080 aluminum. I used a piece of scrap 1/2" OSB board for my sacraficial material. The osb wants to burn. I had to use a water mist to keep from catching on fire. Is there a better material to use under the aluminum? Thanks!!

Tim, when we had the D200 we used PVC as the sacrifice. We would purchase damaged sheets for almost nothing from the local supply houses. Vic G
