A client has a vinyl trailer canopy, he wants me to put his company logo on it like I've done to the sides of his trailer. The canopy rolls up when not in use. Someone informed me that I could use the cut vinyl if you ironed them during installation. Has anyone heard of this and/or does anyone have any experience or recommendations for this project?
Thanks for any help anyone can give, Bill Posted by roger bailey (Member # 556) on :
Bill, we have much "good" experience with this.
We never found it necc. to iron anything, we just make VERY certain the substrate is CLEANED properly.
I would sugest using (of course) Rapid Prep first, then (following instructions on bottles) clean again with Rapid Tac or TacII, and proceed to apply wet with R.T. or R.T.II.
You should get a good initial bond in a couple minutes, and a fantastic bond within an hour (enough to roll and unroll at will).
E-mail your street address for free samples; mail@rapidtac.com or visit my site for more info.; www.rapidtac.com

Gerber makes a Perma Grip vinyl that would probably work for this application.
