I'm helping out a friend with his PC600. He's running windows XP and CorelDraw 10.
Here's the deal, when setting the sheet length, the most we can get out of it is 33 inches.
What I have tried: In the printer setup (in corel) I open and select the PC600 driver. From there, I go to paper/quality and then to advanced... in the document options, I go to properties... select "inch" and enter my page size. Now, in my pc60 driver for my machine, somehow I have it set so that I can just enter in a new size. This size will be there again if I open another file and go to the pc60 driver. When I do make these changes, I do not add a new page size, or should I say that the driver does not automatically choose one as does this pc600 driver.
So, with the pc600 driver I set a new page size, set my cut line color, turn the printing off, cutting and form feed on. I "OK" back out to the main page of the file, then go to "layout/page setup/set from printer/toggle from portrait to landscape and back to portrait...ok out of there.
Place the graphic on the new page layout and select print... away it goes to the pc600. Cuts fine until it gets to 33 inches, where it just wants to cut back and forth until it thinks it has finished cutting the graphic.
What is going on?
I have tried to change the settings in the "settings/control panel/printers folder" to change the default settings for the driver... every change I make takes except for the page size. Even if I add a new page size, hit "apply" and go back to try it, the new page never shows up.
In the pc600 driver, there is a setting to change from machine to driver settings, this also will not stay if changed... reverts back to "machine" settings.
OK, any ideas on this? I think it is a simple something is set wrong situation but can't quite figure it out.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks, Bruce... I need all the help I can get.
More on this problem, the tech guys seem to think that selling a FLEXI package is the answer. I'm bothered by what seems to be a lack of actually trying to figure out what the problem is. I think it's just some goofy setup problem but so far can't figure it out.
Thanks again!

I'm not totally sure of it. But I,m pretty sure I've heard that CorelDraw 10 and Roland PC-12 and 600 didn't match. The solution would be to switch to an older CorelDraw or to CorelDraw 11.
Hope it help!
But the best solution would be to sell the PC-660 on eBay and to buy an Edge! The Roland cutting/Printing plotter are just plain crap!
Last tuesday I had an home "demonstration" of the poor value of the PC-12. After 2 hours, the 2 representatives discovered the problems of having several Roland drivers conflicting, and after desinstalling and reinstalling only the right driver, their machine was printing on a wrong scale. After that when they seemed ready a ribbon broke! I got a vivid picture of the high quality of the Roland ribbon printers!

With my PC-60, after setting up the job and setting the page size to the intended print size, I click on print, select the PC-60, click on properties and set the sheet size to User Size. The sheet size always has to be longer than the actual print size.
I don't know if the PC-600 properties page is different from the PC-60.

Jeffery, Have the same problem with our Roland PC-60 and as far as I can tell it has to do with "XP". I have two computers with XP and the other with WIN'98. The windows 98 machine has full control over page size and saves every one of them....not so on the XP machines, it will only use the pre determined sizes. So if I have small stuff to print on limited material I use the WIN98 computer. Love the output....this page thing sucks.
