Well, my previous employer did that, and he justified it by saying he would have made twice that if he actually used it on a sign, I think he charged 75.00 (his minumum) for 3 yards, the guy bought it though. I don't do that, but I dont have a real sign business, I do a favor for a friend, and usually, I get a favor back, if not no big deal. Rick

Franchises know how to generate money that's what they're all about and they don't care how they get it,making lousey looking garbage but grossing $100,000 a month.

Did you misread their sign? It probably said SIGN-A-RAMIT. Probably hard to read being all cap brush script on an arc.Should have known something was up, the guy's name tag said Ben Dover.

We have a saying out our BNI business luncheon I attend each week with business people from all areas, and that saying would be:
"What comes around, goes around!"
There may be a day come when you can treat him the same.
There is more to gain by being helpful and friendly. I look at it as this: You lost a little money, but you didn't lose your dignity! You probably were able to finish your job, keep your customer happy, so you are the real winner here. Posted by Si Allen (Member # 420) on :
Maybe he thought you were really from McClaren Racing and were filthy rich!
