Here is a fun project we did not long ago.

The local veterinarian owns a building that has three places of business including his own. He wanted some sort of marquee board and a framework for signs for the individual businesses.

This is what we started with:

 -

We used the telephone pole seen here and built onto it....

here is the result. It is lit externally. the surface is James hardy siding, stucco finish. The signs are 1/2" mdo.
 -

what do you think?

very nice work there! what are the dimensions? Did you design all the signs as well? If so, nice job there too.

27' to the top, 8' wide. The signs are 32"x84", and yes we designed them.

Nice work! I kind of miss the simplicity of the first picture but... WHAT?!..OK, I'm really kidding. First class job! Thanks for sharing.

BTW, where are the external lights for this structure?

Good Question! the answer is: only partially installed in this picture. You can't see them, but there are florescents installed in the eaves of the roof that are there for mood on the dimensional sign "Arbor Square". there are 4 halogens that are to be installed on conduit extensions above the marquee.

This is at the customers perogative, and has yet to get it done.
