Hello, Welcome to May! It's wall season up here(two days of warm sun.... around our house, 3 of these in a row constitutes GT season(Tanq. only, please) So, I'm a recent convert to latex vs. one shot, and the old fitches just don't seem to like latex. Pig bristle is the hair, I believe. I'm using some older Harrison "Favorites" model, and have recently used Leonhardy from GB (in o/shot, not latex.0 *RENEGADE HAIRS The question is, have any of you found a great fitch that likes latex and tracks along the line? If any have used one of Hannukaines green handle half synthetic/half squirrel hair and experienced the FANTASTIC CONTROL, THEN THAT'S what i'm looking for in a fitch(for latex or oil, but mainly latex)
There's no *renegade hairs in these dream fitches i'm looking for. If you've got this far, thanks for reading, and I am serious about this!!!
I spent the last 2 days on ladder/plank on a wall 40 of lettering/sun/wind/shorts/heaven. But the fitch was like a stick with mooshed hair. sure, I could steer iT along the lines, but,i'd love to find that dream fitch.
Any brands/suppliers/sources?

It is NOT the brush that is causing your promblem!
The "latex" waterbase paint require new,never used in oil based paint fitches. Try the line from MACK BRUSH that are shaped like a fitch and hold paint like a cutter.
Personally(32years experience)I would paint a "house" with latex,but NOT a sign!
Too much work involved...as you are starting to see for yourself. Along with the FACT that they have not perfected the paint to accomplish the task,nor had the time in which to test deribility.

Pat, thanks for the Mack lead. I always think of them as stripers only, I see they have lots of different brushes.
Regarding the best in latex one, are you meaning the russian sable(soft fitch) or the hog bristle ones?
