TOO COOL John.

One little teensy detail I would love to see though...

When the hen blasts off there should be FLAMES from those pipes as she goes out of frame.

Keep us tuned in...

Wow! Very cool you guys!
John ... how long did that take you to do?

Mark, you are right about flash in the right hands! I've seen some flash on sites, just for the sake of flash itself. Does nothing for me.
Then I've seen some well orchestrated stuff.
Makes all the difference in the world.

Hi John,

Thanks for the laugh....great work.

I sent Mark a link to Swish recently (did you get my mail Mark?). I have a little program called Swish 2.0 which makes, making flashmovies easier.

Version 1.5 is shareware, but Version 2.0 is about $40 I have been playing with it in the evenings abit and thought it was great.

You can download a 15 trial version too from www.swishzone.com Maybe you're both masters at Flash, this might help others interested in website work.

You guys got me curious, so I went and downloaded 'Swish' like Henry (thanks Henry) suggested...been playing with it for a couple of hours...don't really know what I'm doing, but it's fun!!!

Still not sure how to get it placed just right....wanna see, so far?

Hi Adrienne,

I have Version 2.0, if you go into "File" and scroll down to samples you have one called snake.swi load that and hit play, you will see some ordinary stuff in the begining then it get abit more advanced, you can copy any of those movies and then edit them yourself and save them again as something else...its good practice and gets you used to planning your movie.

I have modified something at home, using shapes and text modified from a swish movie I bought, I will try and post it later. There are a few tutorials in there too showing you how to import photos and move them fade them in to each other etc etc.

Its a fun program....I just wish I had more time over to get to grips with the web programs I have now.....would love to get a new site up.

John,

Awesome stuff, I love the flash touch, what a nice way to animate without drawing all the motion steps.

I miss drawing cartoons myself. You've inspired me to start doodling again. My original dream as a kid was to become a sydicated cartoonist and stay at home draw all day, and live in the mountains o f New Hampshire.

Ahhhhhh how life takes us off track!

Anyway keep up the great work, I like your style.

Thanks to everyone for the fine comments. I was really pleased with this as it was only my second effort. The first one I did, I am adding more to it and will post it later. Thanks again y'all.

Very Very cool! I might get with you about developing a cartoon character of me for my logo!!

Are you learning the Flash through books? Macromedia makes great software but it's kinda expensive for the general public!!

Keep us posted with the other movie you're working on.
