Times are tough. Folks are pulling back, reigning in their spending.

What are we to do??

My answer is to begin planning for real about EXPANSION!!

It's time to build or do those projects you have been thinking about! Money is the cheapest it has been for 40 YEARS !!!!

Now is the time to invest in a building or project. So many times in the past I have built when things are screaming. Paid way too much for just about everything connected with the project including interest on the loan. (21% the worst time)

We are currently in the slowest time I've been in for a long time. This means I have time to properly plan and build my projects and still take care of the business we do have.

Buy that new vehicle while the interest rates are the best (If you need one). Refinance your house or shop to get the money to do the expansion or what ever. And use your slow time to do the project. Get ready for the busy time that is bound to return.

Lock up that long term mortgage while things are down. Don't overload yourself though. Just use the opportunity to your advantage!

Also invest the slow time you may have on your hands to build your business. Letter your shop vehicle, redo your showroom. Organize your shop.

When things do improve (and they always do) you will be ready to rock and roll while those around you are scrambling to get up to speed.

I'm excited, REALLY EXCITED about the opportunity we currently have!

And I'm keeping busy in my studio working up our new web sites, plans for our expansion, new lettering job for the new shop truck, plans for the new shop and house and a thousand other things I have been dying to do.

I'm also taking care of the business I do have.

Opportunity knocks!

Hello!

I'm in the middle of organizing and cleaning out everything!!

Money is tight, work is slow, but I got confirmation from just about all my regular Christmas clients to paint again like normal this year!

So, you are right on Dan, this IS a good time to get caught up and ready for when it all busts loose!
