For the past several days I have been cleaning my brushes in a natural water soluble brush cleaner for 3 or 4 minutes after work and although I may clean my brushes in an ultra-sonic cleaner I have found this stuff to leave brushes in a like new state or even better. It actually works both as a cleaner and conditioner, all in one.
Its called Rapid-Remover which most signmakers use to remove adhesives left behind after removing vinyl.

Roger Bailey of Rapid-Tac asked me to try this way back but something always came up and I really didn't have the time, so I made time and now I'm really glad I did.
Even with the 3 jar cleaning system while on the road, its marvelous. It not only removes all the sign enamel and sediment but also conditions the hair and it feels real soft afterwards.

My daily use of brushes go through a tremendous amount of work and color change while on the road so thorough cleaning is hard to do, but after the first cleaning using Rapid-Remover I instantly noticed how soft the hairs felt and found myself not wanting to oil them.

Its really a bummer sometimes trying to remove all the oil from the brush before use, and now I don't have to.......

Okay Joey BUT..
If the conditioner is water soluable then you must have to wash the brush in water?
Or do I only assume you must wash out the RR ..?
I was taught to never use water on "oil based brushes"

i use it for that reason too, and i think it works great especially since whe you put a quill in my hands it looks like a train wreck.....also roger i find it cleans my pistol better and easier with less mess than gun scrubber or Hoppes
