Need some help, I had a friend email me a font as an attachment, it says wfn , however it;s a "RED A"(adobe?) after I save it to a floppy when I try to open it a message says "not a valid font file " what am I doing wrong ? I'm trying to install in Signlab 5.0

Bob, I think it needs installed. Do you have "Adobe Type Manager" or "Bitstream Font Navigator" on your computer? If not you can install it to your fonts folder. Go to the contol panel and there is a folder called fonts. Open it and go to "file" and then "install new font" Direct it to your floppy disk or where ever you put the font and that should install it for use in your program.

WFN is the old propriatary font format for Corel Draw. You would need Corel 3 or older or SignLab to use it.

Bob, I sent a zipped file to you that was part of the old Corel and will permit opening of those fonts. Danny Baronian and I went through that once.

The floppy disk might be bad..
But just save the attachment into a temporary directory on your hard drive then open the Adobe Type Manager (since the file has the "A" icon, I know you have the ATM on your system).. when you open the Adobe Type Manager, add that font to the system.. you just need to tell ATM to find the font where you put it.
