Curious, for those that hand paint. What kind of Liner/outliner brushes do you like ?

I have mostly Mack 839 which are Brown Kazan. I like natural hair brushes

I have a Jensen swirly Q I used for outlining letters, I like it. Its Blue squirrel and synth.

Does anyone like these kafka synthetic hair brushes ? Or synthetic brushes for lettering enamal?

I kinda always avoided synthetic

I've recently tried the Ted Turner Drag-n-fly, and like them, for outlining and a few things.
They take a little getting used to.

David Jackson - the Brushman - in UK, makes beautiful outliners in a set.

Believe it or not, the Hannukaine lettering brushes are pretty good. They are syntheic, but they got snap. Ya know, a few years ago I was talking to Ron Percell. He had mentioned that real hair brushes might start getting hard to find because of PETA. So I have a full stock of assorted real hair brushes and I buy more when I can,,,,,or can afford to.

Ill have to try some Hannukaine Quills. Mack site says made of Mixture of Squirrel & Taklon. Good price.

Dont know why those Kafka brushes cost so much. I always thought they were way over priced so I never bought them except one #3 liner

This morning I started using a mack #3 839 liner. Then immediately swithched to that Jensen swirly dirly Q and kept using it, works good, on these 7" tall Rounded Hippie style font letters Im doing

I here PETA is realy big in Europe. Some of the European Bird dog breeders, Deutsch Kurzhaar(German short hair Pointers) and Vislas, cant dock the tails of the baby pups like they are supposed too because of PETA whiners
