I don't know if this link will work so you can see this window print. But here goes, I printed this 7 years ago on clear reversed so it would be correct for the inside of a window. (Even though it is upside down in the photo.) Anyway I am wondering anyone has this happen to their prints? Do you have any idea what has caused it? I talked to the owner to see if they have a commercial window cleaning service thinking that might be the problem. He said he washes the window occasionally himself with Windex. I told him to not use Windex because it has ammonia in it which is not good for the vinyl. Here is the link:http://s1297.photobucket.com/user/paintm1/media/Hutch_zpskybl86ir.jpg.html?o=1

I can't see your picture, but it sounds like the sun is hitting the adhesive side of the vinyl. If that's the case, 7 years is pretty good.

Rob...I saw the upside down picture and it was tough to understand what was turning black since there wasn't an original picture to compare it with.

But, as Chuck says, a 7 year life span on a printed graphic is pretty good. Sell the client a new one?
