off to the hospital, getting back surgery done. lamectomy, all L- vertebra.... titanium screws and wire, and fusion. doc say i will be walking better in 3 days after sugery ......then i am now.

well today the 1st i have felt like gettin near the computer. DRUGS..... have some bad side effects. nausea every time i try to eat somethin. nothing taste good. did a "COLD TURKEY" DAY on the pain pills. took a wholw loritab at 6 am.........and none till a half hour ago. took 1/2 of loritab..... getting bowels to move and eating a meal..........is whati need to work on. thanks to all. my doctor is from PA. so felt comfortable with his work. with the incision i have 11-12" long, i dont have the level of pain i had before the surgery.

I have been experiencing back problems for a few years and chose to do the chiropractic route a couple of months ago. For me, so far, it is working.
I hope your choice will be succesful in the long run!!!

JULY 29TH....1st day movin round without the walker!!!!!! cant go far, but iam standing fully erect. been a little tough with the ruptured stomach ulcer 3 days after the back surgery and then they put me on a clear liquid diet for bout 4-5 days. had a wendy's double burger for lunch today))))))))) really doing well. can post color pics of the ruptured stomach ulcer if you would like)))))))

back surgery was the jul 9th date. what did they do? just about rebuilt everything!!!!!! had extensive stenosis, and claudication in the area from S1, L5, L4, L3, L2, L1!!!!! did a LAMECTOMY(removed the bones from the front of the spine)these bones are ground up and mixed with an inorganic paste and makes a "bondo" like substance which they apply over the titainium screws in the vertebra, all connected with titainium wire, to each vertebra. i had no disc in between 3 of those vertebra.
