What a great Sunday afternoon video to watch. Your work and presentation is like magic, it is so good it makes one sit back and smile. Thanks for sharing.

I've just finished watching the video-it's just brilliantly well done Magnificent work, Dave. (Makes us lesser mortals pleased to be involved in the same trade as you!)
Did you brush stipple the browny blends in the 'globe' and ribbon folds, or did you airbrush them?
I'm planning a trip to UK in June, and would love to call in & meet you, if you'll be about, and if that would be convenient. I'm still working out the itinerary, so don't know what part of the month, just yet.
P.S. the black paint you screen print on the glass-is that a secret recipe of modified enamel of yours, or an old sooty drop black, or what is it? (if you don't mind me asking I've tried to concoct a few brews of dense black enamel, and stickability or surability can easily be an issue)

The Letterhead spirit came through loud and clear when you said you wanted to share your knowledge - I hope the kids are listening.....

Looks like Dave and I both cried...a couple of softies I suppose...something that beautifully made stirs something deep within...thanks for sharing.

No matter how hard I try, there are no words good enough to thank you for sharing your most exceptional talent. Every piece of work is a masterpiece, and I still say that you more than deserve to be knighted for your fine work.

Like so many others, words just are not adequate to express what I feel when I watch this video, or any of the others about David. Tears always come because of the tremendous admiration I have of both David and the videographer. I've said it many times before, but there is absolutely no one that even comes close to this great man. And what makes him even more special is that he is a gentle, humble man that is more than willing to share everything he knows with others.
It is with a great honor that I also get to call him a friend.

That was incredible! I actually have a brush in my hand today as I paint an awning, however, I'm not qualified to splatter paint on David's shoes... but I will get some on mine.

Excellent- I am going to buy album just for the artwork (I don't even own a record player anymore)
I really enjoyed seeing the screenshots of how everything was built- around 2:05

Raymond,
Hell, Michigan is 31°F today, which is probably pretty warm for this time of year.

My gosh what lovely incredible comments. I would just like to say it's an honour being part of this talented group and many more letterheads across the world that share these skills. I really do think we all have the best jobs to start our day with, if it was not for people such as the late Rick Glawson , Noel Weber , Mark Oatis, Raymond Chapman , you guy's here and many other countless names that introduced me to the Letterheads, I would not be here doing what i love. Thanks everyone. Dave
