While not having a lot of history in itself, it's immediately adjacent to Temecula which has a pretty interesting western/indian history, wine country, etc. Location is approx. 1 hour north of San Diego, 1 hour east of Orange County. Small enough, I believe, that powers-that-be might be available to contact and interested and big enough to be able to scrape up a few bucks for the project.
I am a sign painter/sign shop owner, with a few good sign painter friends in the area - a couple from Disneyland Sign shop. Looks like it might be fun.
