We had to put our Jake down last night. 15 years with us...he was a member of our family....and spent every day in our office with us. He was our official "Office Manager". He was the best dog we have ever had and will be missed.
Kelly couldn't have said it better
quote:
there is nothing like a good dog's loyalty and affection to sooth the soul
And our Jake did just that!

So sorry to hear that. Nothing keeps you company like a good shop dog.

Greetings from SUNNY MICHIGAN!!

I knew Jake, he was cool, never got too rattled. He will be missed. [Group Hug]

Lots of times when I come over, he would just look to see who it is, then went back to sleep.

Now, Boone, on the other hand...OMG. Too bad Jake didn't school him a little bit.

[Cool]

Sooo sorry...

Thank you all for the kind words.

Rick...you are so right....I had hoped that when I got Boone, Jake would have been spry enough to teach him his ways...but it didn't work out that way. So now we have our work cut out for us!
He is a pretty good dog, if we could only get him to quit barking so much.

Pat, so sorry to hear of your loss. Dogs really are special friends. I used to have them but I developed an allergy to them at some point. I miss the unconditional love and friendship they give.

Sorry Pat [Frown] such a tough time in your life; animals are so loving and innocent. I have to imagine that there is a better place for their souls. But, still so very hard, my thoughts are with you, your family and Jake now.
