I usually farm this out but I am getting more need to do it in house - anyone do this in house? what roller do you use?

I usually use 1" or 2" square aluminum tube

The right tool for something like that is a universal bender. The industry standard has been the Hossfeld bender:

hossfeldbender.com

Another really good company is Shop Outfitters:

Of course you can get cheap imitations from Harbor Freight and Chinese suppliers but you get what you pay for.

Bending Square tubing requires a special type of die, that not only holds the sides in check but also dimples the inside edge of the bend radius, I have built a 1" tubing bender out of scrap steel that resembles an electricians conduit bender. we have aptly named it the hatchet due to its looks. If you go on you tube, do a search on bending square tubing you might find it there. otherwise google it. I know I found it on the web and you can too.
