Who would think that on a rainy Sunday morning in April of 1960, a career would start that would span 50 years, and still be going. It was on just such a morning, outside of Houma, La. that this hitchiker got a ride with the shop foreman at the Houma Sign Shop, he offered me a job, which I accepted. It certainly has been a very educational trip. Lots of hills, valleys and curves in that long road called life. But in all honesty, I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I have worked in many places, across this great place called America. I have made many friends, seen many amazing things, and have enjoyed every minuute of it. And I would love to be able to go back and do it all over again. Maybe some day, some way I will get to meet some of the great people who call this site their second home. Hi, I was in Houma a couple years ago working at a computer show. What a cool town! I really felt like I was at home...of course, although I was only there for 3 days working long hours, I did get out to the restaurants and ride around too; beautiful country.
