I recently had a friend work on my computer & he accidently deleted some Cadlink files that operated y Signlab. I just now reinstalled it (Signlab 8) & got this message:
Free Feature Alert! You have 30 days of FREE Signlab features left.
Able to enjoy these features free of charge until you either have your License file or 15 days have elapsed. Depending on what package you purchased, you may or may not have access to certain features following this time.
Please remeember that at the end of 15 days, if you do not have your license file, the product will no longer work.
I had bought this upgrade in June of '08, & it did not include any printing on vinyl, just straight cutting. I am wondering if it only means I will just lose printing capabilities, (which I do not need anyway) or will I lose use of the whole program after 15 days? It was so long ago, I do not remember of a license file.

I believe the license file was on a disk to automate installation. Never used it. Just hit file, add modules which will allow you to type in your password which is 6 groups of 6 characters separated by commas. Password for mine Profilelab6 was on e-mail from Cadlink.

Contact CadLink. They will have your password on file and will send it to you. Been there, done that.
