... It wasn't dry enough to re-coat at the end of the work day. Why not slip by after Laurie's Rotary Banquet and slap on another coat so it can be installed in the morning. I wonder if our clients know what we do for them...

. . . and what would you do if you got purple paint on your nice suit?
Posted by Dan Beach (Member # 9850) on :
I hear that Duncan.
I do things like that too often . . .

Nice shade of purple Duncan, it goes well with Black.

I have a large stack of "nice clothes" with paint on them. My wife loves it. No suits though, maybe I will have to add that to the pile...

Some folks say I'm not real... but if I even thought about going near my shop - never mind actually doing any paint then paint would SOMEHOW be found on my closthes. If I wore an actual suit the paint would probably jump at least 50 feet onto my clothes... without even opening the door!
I'd say Duncan isn't natural... some kind of super grampaw that paint don't stick to in my view...
And what's up with no recent pics of the grand daughter???

Now that's a nice look'n suit Neil. Grampa Dan's been on the road so maybe he didn't see this one...
She even laughs at Grandpaw's jokes. Is she a keeper or what???
Grandpaw, is it true Grampa Dan always gets lost??

As long as his keys are locked in the car, Dan can't get lost.

Where is the fedora hat Duncan?
It's part of the Hardly Nomal Sign Company uniform!

Reminds me of the sign painters in old pics of shops, they always had a white shirt & tie, usually with a hat on.

Now I'll probably get a reputation that I "ALWAYS" lock my keys in my car.... and I only did it twice in Pontiac - and not on the same day either.
The fact is that I drove all over Chicago, down to Pontiac, up to Michigan, and back to Chicago without getting lost once. I may not have ever known exactly where I was, but I was never lost! That GPS sure is handy!
Great pictures Duncan... although I suspect you may be putting some words in her mouth...

In the voice of Marlon Brando from the Godfather:
"I trusted you like family Johnny, and you ratted me out to the feds.... I was going to give you a pair of cement shoes, but I decided to show you mercy and let you live....but I AM going to paint you Barney purple so you remember this day."
