I am trying to come up with some designs for a township sign for a Bavarian emphasis. Any one have any good leads or resources on photos, or ideas?

There is a town in Washington State called Leavenworth http://www.leavenworth.org that patterned the entire town after a Bavarian village. Check out the link, there may be some pics on the "Photos" page that may help.

Frankenmuth, Michigan is another town that has a very Bavarian theme to it. As I remember it has a Bavarian looking welcome sign. I just searched Google images for it without success. Maybe a look at their town government site or some of the bed & breakfasts and tourist attractions in Frankenmuth will turn it up. Many of the commercial buildings in Frankenmuth have the Bavarian look.

You could also search for Bavarian German communities.

Frankenmuth is an awesome place to visit! Zender's has the best chicken dinners!

Looks like this justifies a trip to look up Manfred.
Or, if on a tighter budget, Frankenmouth will have to do.
