I have absolutely had a ball on this thing, not all trashed up like myspace

Yep I've been on for a little while and spend quite a bit of time (when I'm not on Letterville)
-the only thing is sometimes it's hard to add people, unless you know who they are or they have mutual friends. and once you have added a bunch of friends, it gets tricky to keep up with all of them.
I had one request from a girl that I went to grade school with, but didn't recognize her married name, so I had to ask her how she knew me and such... it has been a good way to keep in touch with old friends and classmates.

Haven't gotten into facebook, twitter, nor linkedin. Keeping up with a social life on the internet is becoming more of a pain in the butt than doing it in real life!

Yes I'm on there, but I don't pay too much attention to it. People want to be your freind and you hardly know them... and some people put way to much information on there... especially personal stuff and the going ons abnout their kids and stuff.... but other than that it's fine. lol

I'm on there and on LinkedIn. I use Facebook primarily for my other business. LinkedIn is for my sign business - fewer "toys" and games to distract me.

My daughter got me on there over a year ago. I never went back and looked at it until someone asked this question on another sign board last week...
I posted that I had a page & since my daughter was visiting, when she used my gmail account, she noticed a whole bunch of sign folks sent "friend invitations" ...so, she accepted them for me. Later I noticed a bunch more & I accepted them...
...after which, I was soon to be led down a "discover people you may know" path, wherein, I recognized some other sign folk, who must have been friends of friends within the facebook community, so I clicked them, thinking they also had sent me invitations... and thinking that although I didn't recognize their real names, I must I know them by their signs101 user name. (not all real names on that other board)
Finally, after a dozen clicks... I realized I hadn't been replying to "friend invitations" from people who reached out to me from the sign board, but had instead been reaching out to total strangers instead (or more likely to all my new facebook friends wives & sisters etc...)
Oh well... like my bolder, outspoken, & more chauvinistic friends used to say... "sometimes you get slapped... but you also get a lot of dates" ...guess I'll go see if I have any new friends over there! Posted by Dan Antonelli (Member # 86) on :
Yep I'm on it. We're also doing a page for the company on there.

On it here too. It's been neat to catch up with friends from high school and see what they are up to these days.

I'm on it, but just for quick catchups- distant relatives & closer friends. I spend very little time there though, and HATE all those 'ownd' 'buy me' and other junky games they try use to get in your way.

Call me paranoid, but I'm with Dave. Why do you think the government is pushing this digital crap down our throats, better signal quality? I don't think so. In this digital age, it's not just corporations spying on us to exploit our wallets, our own government(s) is keeping an even closer eye on us too. Although I have nothing to hide, I'm not offering anything up to make it any easier for these organizations to track me
