Hi Doug, I would be a little worried that it could bunch up a bit and do damage to the Head, let alone the print..but I may be a little Cautious, a great video all the same. I have been printing directly on Mercury Banner material now for 2 years and it has been Fantastic, I never had not one issue, and I've printed Hundreds of banners, the Versa Camm is great machine is'nt it.

works great, prints great and it sure is nice to not have to grommet anymore

I have tested the first three rolls off of production. There is some minor tweaks that they are working on but it is a fantastic product. We have been printing with the head hight on high and the knife out and we have done a few full 20' banners and the roll ran straight and printed right over the grommets. All you need to do it trim the ends and ship it out.

Remember if you are going to try some of the material you should take out your knife and use you machine at high head height. We just ran another test on billboard speed and it printed great. If you are going to do a full bleed over the grommets I just throw a piece of masking tape on the machine so the ink won't go on the printer.

Any questions feel free to ask.

We did some testing on the SP300 yesterday and I don't recommend using this product yet in this machine. It does not allow you to set the printer on high head height. All of the others it has worked great!

thanks Randy hope you guys are doing well!

Thanks for the SP300 note. I was just going to ask about that same scenario. Do they plan to come up with something for this machine? I really should have listened to everyone and bought the 54". It was a rush decision that has haunted us many times over!!

Oh well, live and learn!

Yes we were actually working on it yesterday. We are still working on perfecting the grommets so they go through every machine. I will let you know more later next week. we will also be showing it at the ISA show in Orlando.
