I use to share a shop with a guy and his wife came in one day with this box. her grandfather had passed and they brought back some stuff. I want so bad to say it was Chicago. (Im trying to located this guy now and try to email)
anyways they let me have some brushes and all this gold and what not. I did not use the leaf so i tucked it away in attic and forgot about it.

What is in the red box???? 5"x5" is the same size as the aluminum and verigated leaf.

The the big "gold" is probably Dutch Gold, craft leaf, Imitation Gold, or whatever name you want to call it. It works like variegated leaf does and tarnishes without a clear coat over it.

Bruce; Sounds like a deal if in fact the ad is not confusing a "Pack" with a "Book". A "Pack" contains 20 "Books" of 25 leaves.

JG, I think you hit it on the head. Looks like Bruce is calling a book a pack.
The current cost of all the leaf has got to be over $250.00 so the bid price so far is a pretty good deal.

The paladium leaf is the hidden jem in this package....ya just need a use for a lot of "silver" leaf.
